歷史
在 GLS 的校園里共有 5 棟屋子﹐它們历历反映了柏林的百年历史:
最古老的屋舍是在 1867 年時蓋的﹐最年輕的建築是在 1960年才在二戰廢墟上蓋起來的。
所有這 5 棟房子一直都是作學校的用途 - 不論是在威廉二世皇帝治下﹐或在希特勒政權還是二次世界大戰後東德時代都是如此。
2005 年的時候柏林市政府把所有建築出售給 GLS。 GLS 把這些房子整修改建﹐加裝現代化的設備﹐ 把它們裝修成一個有自己 旅店客舍 的語言學校。
Berlin history
This old school - or more precisely: what is left oft it (it was bombed and partly destroyed in WW II) - now houses some of the GLS studio-apartments where you can stay while doing your German course. All apartments are refurbished classrooms. More photos about Berlin history
1961
This building - built as a public school shortly after the construction of the Berlin Wall in 1961 - now accommodates some of the GLS classrooms (virtual tour). The ground floor was rebuilt into a restaurant (virtual tour).
