How did it start?

When I took part to ICEF Berlin 2014 and I met some of GLS staff and visited the campus.

Please describe your Agency:

Language School Experience is a Consultancy Service. We are Educational Consultants, English language trainer, we give advice and choose the right provider to propose to our clients who want to improve the languages they are studying. We have partners all over the world, so we organize study stays for High School/ University students, adults, businessmen and senior students who would like to study or improve a foreign language in the countries where the mother tongue language is spoken.

Why do your clients book Berlin (and not other places in Germany)?

Berlin is Berlin! The capital city renowned for its exceptional range of landmarks, vibrant cultural scene and way of life. In fact, the city is well known for its striking contrasts. There are historical buildings which stand alongside modern architecture as the past and present intermingle. The students can get a lot from this city as it can offer something for everybody.

What was the last time you met GLS staff? On a fair, a IALC roadshow…?

Last October during the ICEF Berlin fair that we attend every year.

Did you ever attend one of the GLS receptions after the Berlin workshop in November?

How could we miss it ! Yes,I attend every year.

Your impression of Berlin, especially the GLS district Prenzlauer Berg?

I think Prenzlauer Berg is the right district for young and adult people. It’s a sparkling and modern district, full of cafés, restaurants, shops and you feel a lovely atmosphere around.

What do you like/dislike about GLS?

We were impressed the first time we have visited GLS for the school building and the spectacular campus. The green space and trees inside the campus as well as the International atmosphere inside and outside the school. The variety of the accommodation and the kindness of GLS staff.

Further comments? 

As I said we are Educational Consultants and we propose all GLS locations not only GLS Berlin. We have to take into consideration the students’ needs and their desiderata. However we know that in any location of the GLS schools, the students will be well looked after and we are sure that they will live a great experience at GLS'.
